FAQ

Common questions.

Wait — your domain is NoFeeOrdering, but you charge 0.5%?
Fair catch. The name reflects what we're replacing: 30% commission marketplaces like DoorDash. 0.5% is 60× lowerthan that — closer to processing-cost than a fee. We'd rather be honest about a tiny per-order cost than pretend it doesn't exist. The rest of the industry hides 3-5% in “processing markups” and asterisks. We don't.
So how much do I actually pay?
$99/month per location + 0.5% per online order. No setup fee, no contract, no hardware lock-in. On a typical $1,000-day restaurant, your total NoFee cost is about $8/day — vs. $300+/day on DoorDash.
Will customers find my restaurant on your platform?
No — and that's on purpose. We don't run a marketplace. Your ordering page lives on your website (or a branded subdomain). DoorDash exists to send your customers to your competitors. We exist to keep your customers ordering from you.
What about delivery?
Pickup-only at launch. Delivery is on the roadmap via DoorDash Drive (you set the fee, drivers handle the trip, no commission on the food). Available Q3.
Can I switch from GloriaFood / ChowNow / Toast?
Yes. We have a 30-minute onboarding call where we import your menu, configure hours, and connect Stripe. Most restaurants are taking orders the same day.
What hardware do I need?
Any tablet for the kitchen view (a $200 Amazon Fire tablet works). Optional thermal receipt printer if you already have one. No proprietary terminal lock-in like Toast.
What if my internet goes down during a rush?
Orders that already came in stay on the kitchen tablet (cached locally). New orders queue at Cloudflare and deliver when you're back online — no order is ever lost.
